Sundown beams upon the sand,
shores beyond the worlds unknown,
the breeze will dream of tales untold
and mourn the mermaid's long-lost call.
I dreamt of islands stray and vast,
albatrosses, coral caves,
there will go my love to last,
sinking deep within the waves.
"Come to me, the bottom awaits,
I'll turn you loose beneath the blue.
My violin will never fade,
for twisted it enchants the truth...
The Wheel will tied be to your hands,
lead to ankles, lungs that burn,
the zodiac will spin above,
oh, never shall we return..."
There stands the great Lighthouse,
forlorn its days are passing by,
for once the captains rolled around
and their songs rejoiced in the air.
But now horizons cold and blank
starless, dark in stormy nights
are only visitors around.
Oh, how I longed to sail...
"Come to me..."
